It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 8th China International 3D World Forum & Exhibition on 3D Displays, Contents and Applications which will be held in the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center, China from 9th to 11th of November, 2011.
China International 3D World Forum & Exhibition , along with ¡°International 3D Fair 2011 in China¡¯ ,has been jointly organized by the China 3D Industry Association (C3D) of China, 3D Fusion Industry Consortium (3DFIC) and 3D Display Research Center( 3DRC) of Korea, 3D Consortium (3DC) of Japan and 3D@Home Consortium of USA.
C3D World,
held twice yearly in April and November, is the most authoritative,
professional, and influential forum and exhibition in the area of
three-dimensional technology in China, having received the long-term support and
participation of the professional organizations in 3D stereoscopic video, 3-D
digital modeling, virtual simulation, and holographic imaging technology from
South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, United States, Europe and other countries.
This year¡¯s forum and exhibition will focus on the front-tier information and technology application of 3D in the era of intelligent cloud and 3D media technology innovation. The new phase of intelligent cloud computing bring unprecedented opportunities and challenges to the 3D industry, also bring technology renovation to the 3D media services for broadcasting network, telecommunication, 3D games, 3D internet network and 3D terminals. Representatives from international 3D alliances and international standard organizations such as Ministry of Information Industry, International Telecommunication Union(ITU), China Standard Research Institute will make key-note speech, Bureau Chief from China National Intellectual Property Bureau will make honorable opening remark. 3D content platform operator, service &equipment providers from around the world will also participate in our annual forum and exhibition.
In order to advocate the 3D vision which conforms to needs of human health and safety, create a global sustainable environment for development of the 3D industry, promote global practitioners to vigorously develop 3D displays, video contents and applications on the premise of respecting humanity, publicize right theory and knowledge of 3D vision and scientifically guide global people to consume 3D products and video contents, the organizer of the International 3D Fair announces to promulgate ¡®the prize of the International 3D Fair 2011 in China¡¯.

Call for Papers
The 8th C3D World hereby extends invitations to all the 3D Academia, organizations,analyst and end-users to share with us your research and insight.
We are accepting abstracts from individuals and organizations engaged in applying research result in results in the broad area of 3D technology, application and media studies and . Of special interest are topics from technology and applications of 3D imaging, modeling, 3D virtual reality, holographic imaging in personal entertainment, digital home and industrial engineering etc. Priority will be given to papers that illustrate new topics for the 3D community or have not previously been presented in English.
Interested parties are invited to submit a one©\page abstract including paper title, a description of the proposed presentation¡¯s content, name of author/presenter, organization, mailing address, telephone/fax numbers, and e-mail address.
Abstracts are due on Oct 15, 2011. Early submission will receive 20% discount in conference registration. Accepted speakers will be notified.
China 3D Forum organizers are seeking speakers/sponsors from:
